The American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) was established at Clarion University in 1973.

We represent employees in the clerical, maintenance, trades, custodial and grounds areas on campus, and different agencies in the Commonwealth within Clarion County. In addition, there are different locals that represent the rank and file members, and the technicians unit, while another unit represents supervisors.

AFSCME is active in the community, and we strive to help our brothers and sisters in need within the University and the community.

Our Master Agreement is effective from July 1, 2007– June 30, 2011.
